At Cascada Expediciones we are sad to have heard of the death of Douglas Tompkins. Tompkins died after a kayaking accident on Lake General Carrera, aged 72. Who are these indefatigable environmental game-changers of Patagonia? In this Cascada post, we meet the Tompkins', a couple who has left a formidable environmental legacy in Patagonia.
