Thank you for making the arrangements for my South American trip. It was great to have just one person to deal with and it took the worry out of booking online. All the itinerary went as planned and was very enjoyable.
Hotel Zero, Valparasio is excellent, especially the rooms with a view. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The location is very good, safe and easy to walk to many shops and restaurants. The breakfasts at Hotel Zero were the best we had in all of Chile and Argentina – perhaps the best omelletes of my life!
I really recommend Cruceos Australis – expedition sailing between Punta Arenas and Ushuaia. Very comfortable ship, wonderful expeditions and staff passionate about the area. A great way to learn more about Tierra del Fuego in style.
The Eco-camp is a great place to stay. They really practise eco-tourism and it is a fun and unique place to stay. Very comfortable accommodation (love those fleece sheets), good breakfasts and dinners, and a terrific selection of food to make your own packed lunch.
I definitely recommend paying the extra for the semi-private transfer for travelling to or from the Eco-camp to El Calafate. Well worth the money to save on all the time and back tracking.
Easter Island is magic. The hotel is set in a lovely garden and within easy walking distance to all the town. My guide was extremely good, and very passionate about his island. Highly recommend a 3 day stay there.
